Ltd held an inauguration of the e-Scooter Sharing System.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"..\/..\/student-life\/hcmut-students-won-the-first-prize-of-the-green-challenge-2015.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u25b6<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>HCMUT students won the First prize at The Green Challenge 2015<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>HCMUT honorably had the attendance of Mr. Le Hoang Minh \u2013 Vice president of Department of Transport Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Vo Quang Hue \u2013 General Director of Bosch in Vietnam; Mr. Guru Mallikarjuna \u2013 General Director of The Bosch Research and Technology Center in Vietnam; Dr. Do Hong Tuan \u2013 Head of the Faculty of Electrical &amp; Electronics Engineering (FEE); Dr. Huynh Phu Minh Cuong &amp; Dr. Nguyen Quang Nam \u2013 Deputy Heads of the FEE; Dr. Nguyen Le Duy Khai \u2013 Head of the Faculty of Transportation Engineering; Dr. Nguyen Van Liem \u2013 Head of the Equipment &amp; Facilities Management Office; Dr. Vo Dai Nhat \u2013 Deputy Head of the External Relations Office; teaching staff and students of the HCMUT.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/oisp.hcmut.edu.vn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/E-Scooter-Sharing-System_HCMUT_02_fe00f.jpg&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;3.0.106&#8243; align=&#8221;center&#8221;][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.0.91&#8243; text_font=&#8221;Roboto||||||||&#8221; text_orientation=&#8221;justified&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;0px||8px|&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;0px||0px|&#8221; saved_tabs=&#8221;all&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Representatives from Bosch in Vietnam, HCMUT, and the group of students conducting the project are taking a photo at the inauguration of the e-Scooter Sharing System.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the opening ceremony, Prof. Dr. Vu Dinh Thanh expressed his sincere appreciation to Bosch Vietnam, the local governmental departments &amp; offices, the universities who have supported HCMUT to execute the project of e-Scooter Sharing System.<\/p>\n<p>This is the outcome of the collaboration between the Bosch Vietnam &amp; HCMUT, Viet Duc University &amp; Da Nang University \u2013 the three winning student teams at The Green Challenge 2015. The contest challenged the participants to build confirmation and payment system for using electric motorbikes; charging plant using renewable energy and electric motorbike monitor device.<\/p>\n<p>The final result was that the UT Salvator of HCMUT won the First prize. The teams from Viet Duc University &amp; Da Nang University were awarded the Second prizes.<\/p>\n<p>Stepping into the second phase of The Green Challenge, each team was sponsored 900 million VND &amp; received specialist consultancy from Bosch Vietnam to conduct the project in 2016. HCMUT is the first university to pilot the system.<\/p>\n<p>The similar two systems will be operated at Viet Duc University &amp; Da Nang University in December 2016. Later on, the systems will be pilot in broader areas such as city centers, provincial cities, etc. The total sponsored expenses of Bosch Vietnam for this contest was up to 04 billion VND (nearly 182,000 USD).<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/oisp.hcmut.edu.vn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/E-Scooter-Sharing-System_HCMUT_03_3d5c4.jpg&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;3.0.106&#8243; align=&#8221;center&#8221;][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.0.91&#8243; text_font=&#8221;Roboto||||||||&#8221; text_orientation=&#8221;justified&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;0px||8px|&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;0px||0px|&#8221; saved_tabs=&#8221;all&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Ribbon-cutting ceremony.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Through the projects, Bosch wants to make its contribution to promoting partnerships in research &amp; development activities of the corporation &amp; universities. Mr. Vo Quang Hue said, \u201cWe believe that research &amp; development will help improve competitive advantages and build an intellectual economy in Vietnam.\u201d If the system is operated in big cities, it will help resolve transportation &amp; environment challenges.
