Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam \u2013 March 17, 2025 \u2013 HCMUT and Marvell Technology, Inc. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) marking a strategic collaboration to advance semiconductor education and research. This partnership will drive the development of industry-leading training courses and provide students with valuable resources to support their academic and professional growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Advancing semiconductor education at HCMUT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As Vietnam accelerates its position in the global semiconductor landscape, this collaboration aligns with the government’s goal of making Ho Chi Minh City a key semiconductor manufacturing hub. According to Resolution No. 98\/NQ-CP issued by the Government of Vietnam, HCMC is designated as a high-tech and innovation center, focusing on semiconductor production and talent development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Marvell-HCMUT partnership directly contributes to this vision by equipping students with specialized expertise in high-speed semiconductor chip design, testing, and system integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The facility is expected to be operational by September 2025, strengthening HCMUT\u2019s role as a leading institution for semiconductor training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
