Pursuant to the Decision No 4094/QĐ-ĐHBK-TCHC dated December 21st 2017 of the Principal of the University of Technology on the establishment of the internal assessment delegation of the English program of the University of Technology (Vietnam National University Hochiminh city), the internal assessment delegation conducted the official survey at the Faculty of Geology and Petroleum Engineering – the University of Technology, from 28th to 29th December 2017.

On the first day, the internal assessment delegation reviewed documentation, self-assessment report and file of evidence provided by the faculty and recorded the findings in the examination.
Subsequently, the group conducted interviews with lecturers, class teachers and faculty council. Student interview is postponed until all High Quality Program students complete the exam of semester 171.

On the second day, the delegation continued to visit places such as simulation room, microscope laboratory of fossils, geotechnical laboratory, and drilling laboratory. In addition, the assessment delegation interviewed the Dean of the faculty to acknowledge the opinions, strengths and weaknesses.

At the end of the survey, the internal assessment delegation synthesized the findings during the assessment and presented preliminary comments as follows:
- Findings on the strengths and difficulties of the institution in term of assessment standard, preliminary synthesis of results according to criteria;
- Other findings in the assessment process;
- Recommendations of the delegation to the Program based on the findings of the survey, evaluation.
