Pursuant to the Decision No 4094/QĐ-ĐHBK-TCHC dated December 21st 2017 of the Principal of the University of Technology on the establishment of the internal assessment delegation of the English program of the University of Technology (Vietnam National University Hochiminh city), the internal assessment delegation conducted the official survey at the Faculty of Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering – the University of Technology, from 02nd to 05th January 2017.

Day 1 – Jan 02nd
– The assessment delegation reviewed documentation, self-assessment report and file of evidence of Mechatronics Engineering, recorded the findings in the examination;
– The delegation conducted interviews with faculty council, lecturers, and class teachers;
– Student interview is postponed until all English Program students complete the exam of semester 171.
Day 2 – Jan 03rd
– The delegation had a meeting and visited the places: measurement laboratory, computer lab, laboratory of the Department of Mechatronics, CALab laboratory, CDIO study room, mechanical workshop;
– The delegation interviewed lecturers and Head of Faculty Council to record their comments, strengths and weaknesses.

Day 3 – Jan 04th
– The assessment delegation reviewed self-assessment and evidence file of Mechanical Engineering, recorded the findings;
– The delegation interviewed team writing self-assessment report of two programs (Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering) to guide how to modify and reorganize the writing, collecting and arranging files;
– The delegation interviewed Faculty Council, lecturers and Academic Affairs staff – OISP on student management and teaching.
Day 4 – Jan 05th
– The delegation synthesized the findings of the evaluation and presented the preliminary comments:
- Findings on the strengths and difficulties of the institution in term of assessment standard, preliminary synthesis of results according to criteria;
- Other findings in the assessment process;
- Recommendations of the delegation to the Program based on the findings of the survey, evaluation.
