On May 28th 2018, the Office of International Study Programs (OISP) hosted the British Standards Institution (BSI) to conduct the ISO 9001:2015 transition assessment.
The delegation had audit sessions with Management representative, Administration Department (Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Facilities), Marketing Department, EMBA-MCI Department and Academic Affairs Department. Here are some photos of the audit:
The results of the ISO 9001:2008 transition audit have no Non-Conformity, only Opportunity to Improve as follows:
Leadership:
- For goals not achieved, it is necessary to analyze the core causes and take corrective action accordingly.
Quality Assurance:
- It is necessary to consider the frequency of internal assessment that is as suitable as actual implementation.
- Based on the findings of the “Quality Assurance Standards” evaluation, action plan, responsibilities, time of completion, etc. should be developed for better monitoring.
- The 2018 survey plan should be approved for being guaranteed to conduct better.
Human Resources Management:
- For new recruited positions/personnel whose capacity is not met in accordance with the corresponding job description, a training plan for such personnel is required.
Marketing:
- The Consultant Training Process (MAR.QT-02 dated May 10th 2015) demonstrates that there is at least one knowledge test conducted per year, but teachers of the faculties participating in consulting do not follow this request.
- The research work of teachers under Circular 23/2014 /TT-BGDĐT should have a record to follow.
EMBA-MCI:
- It is necessary to closely monitor the results of Master’s students when participating in the training program.
Academic Affairs:
- It is necessary to clarify “Lecturers teaching specialized subjects in foreign languages”, for example: physical education teachers are eliminated in this situation.
- The Tuition Fee Process (HV.QT-04 dated May 15th 2018) needs to add action of notifying students and students’ responsibility for keeping the invoice.
- The process of examining and results executing (HV.QT-06 dated May 15th 2018) should be added in the column of students’ responsibilities are doing tests, saving results, etc.
The ISO 9001:2015 transition audit has gone well. The office continues to implement the quality management system ISO 9001:2015./.
