This is the annual biggest event hosted by Petroleum Students Union ( Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology), for the purpose of orient students specialized in Petroleum Engineering as well as high school students who are interested in this major.

The conference hosted by Office for International Study Program (OISP) took place in 11/9 in Building A4, Room 510. That was a chance for students to know more about articulation programs and advanced programs which are related to Chemical Engineering. Furthermore, there were representatives from famous corporations as Unilever, Intel, Samsung, etc., that might be their future employers.

This is an annual activity of Chemical Engineering Department for new students to show their creativity in designing highly applied products.

In the first year, students studying in HCMUT have to learn fundamental technological subjects. Therefore, their products are not highly required, but provide students ability to design and implement new products.

“MAKE HAY WHILE THE SUN SHINES”
At 4:15 am everyday, Whether it’s hailrain or in sunshine, Mr.Thong still steadily drives to work from Cu Chi and arrives at HCMUT at about 5:30 am.

Four Samsung Galaxy Tabs 4 were awarded to Nguyen Vu Duy (23 points), Tang Thanh Hung ( 23 points), Dang Le Minh (22 points), Nguyen Vu Hong Phuc (21.5 points). Those rewards would help them a lot in studying as well as entertaining.

Prof. Dr. Charles Nguyen Cuong has been very famous for his contribution to Vietnamese community. He awarded many international prizes and one of them is The 2009 Lifetime Achievement awarded by The District of Columbia Council of Engineering and Architectural Societies, The 2014 Asian Heritage Award for his enormous contributions in science and education which affect significantly in and out of the US.
