FOUR STUDENTS FROM HCMUT RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIPS FROM TOYOHASHI UNIVERSITY

Four students in the internationa program and advanced program of HCMUT who have academic achievement and outstanding social activities have received four scholarships, international student program of the University of Technology-Toyohashi, Japan.

1. Trinh Tran Mai Kim Hoang, K12 Civil Engineering Student (International Program with Griffith Uni, Australia), GPA 9.86

2. Tran Hong An, K12 electrical & electronic engineering student (advanced programs, HCMC), GPA 8.16

3. Le Khanh Nhan, K12 business administration student (international program with the University of Illinois at Springfield, United States of America), GPA 8.86

4. Vo The Nguyen, K13 electrical & electronic engineering student (advanced programs, HCMC), GPA 8.26

The frame program is quite dense with many activities workshops, professional presentations, but also mixing a variety of visits of museums, parks, shopping, dining, entertainment, etc. including

– Visiting the laboratory, high technology Engineering Center as the Toyogawa biomass fuel, industrial and technical museums in Toyota’s …

– Attending and presenting at the seminar theme such as “the city of the future”, “technologies for human health”, “industrial development and environmental protection”, “campus life” … ….

– Join short-term Japanese class

This is the annual scholarship of Toyohashi University of technology for Asian university students, to encourage the spirit of international thinking for students, strengthening exchanges, share mutual understanding. This program is attended by students from the universities of China, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia.

On the other hand, the program offers the opportunity to visit Japan for international students, approach the beauty of Japanese culture in General and Toyohashi University of technology’s tradition in particular.
