Office of International Study Program’s attracted thousands of High school students to tour and consultation at the University Recruitment – Career Orientation Day 2015
The festival hosted by Tuoi Tre News in collaboration with Education & Training Ministry and HCM University of Technology ( HCM National University), took place on Jan 18 2015 at HCMUT.
From the very start, Office of International Study Program (OISP) – HCMUT has attracted numerous students thanks to privileged location, attractive layouts and professional, young consultants. The apricot trees with lucky charms attached took attention of more than 5000 students and parents. They came for lucky draw with gifts such as backpacks, bags, markers, etc.
On the other hand, the consultation area of OISP draws special attention from students thanks to varied training programs (more than 10 technical majors including Petroleum, Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Civil Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, etc. ) that meet international standard. In particular, Electrics & Electronics, Mechatronics and Chemistry received a lot of questions from the students about training program and career opportunities.
This is the 13th year opening the festival, gathering 140 consultation booths of 93 universities, colleges, vocational centers, language centers, universities from abroad, altogether with thousands of students from the South.
Big universities have also joined including: HCM University of Technology, University of Technology and Education, HCM University of Law, University of Finance and Marketing, HCM University of Economics, HCM University of Transport, University of Banking in HCMC, Nong Lam University (University of Agriculture and Forestry), etc.
In this festival, member of the Consultant Board and representatives from universities, educational units have answered in details on matters related to National High school graduation Exam 2015, as well as information about International program, Study Abroad Consult, how to choose the appropriate school/major, how to study for tests, etc. At the same time, they help examine to have an overview on the variety of the universities and majors, the academic environment, etc.
Students who came to the festival for the first time are all amazed by the enormous scale with intriguing gifts from the booths. Brilliant atmosphere filled the Festival. Boys and girls all smiling, taking pictures with friends in front of beautifully decorated booths
