OSA LEADER: “STUDENT’S ACTIVITIES MAKES ME GREW UP”

Beautiful, dynamic, good at studying, making delicious cakes, sometimes “sweet-tempered”, “auto mood” screams fire, so that Le Ha Ai Van led OISP Student Ambassador Club (OSA) firmly progress over two years of operation.

The rare “sweet-tempered” moment of OISP Student Ambassadors (OSA) leader

Meet the Office for International Study Programs (OISP) to meet this interesting friend!

* Could you introduce a little about yourself?
– I am Le Ha Ai Van, K2015 student in Industrial Management, English Program, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. I used to wonder between studying economics or education. However, thanks to orientation and tradition from the family, Van has “lost” here. In fact, OISP is not my first choice after taking the university exam. But the charm came when I was introduced to the English Program of Ho Chi Minh City University of technology and started to learn about it: studying in English, modern facilities, close to home and especially many “boys” :))). Those are the top reasons why I chose Bach Khoa University.

* Having been with OSA for three years, including two years in the position of leader, What experience did you collect?
– Activities of OISP students in recent years have become very exciting with the establishment of many clubs and new generation students become more enthusiastic. Each club in OISP brings different colors and diverse activities so students do not have to worry about finding a club suitable for themselves. Currently, Van is the manager of OSA and also a member of the dance team in OISP Music Club (OISP Music Bank – BOMB).
OSA is a club organizing events for marketing office and media. This is a completely new field for Van but only on the university that I recently learned, it helps Van have the opportunity to practice theoretical knowledge learned in class (Project preparation and analysis, Management HR, Development of management skills …). Also participating in BOMB is to satisfy the passion for music and dancing that Van has pursued since high school years. The process of club activities at OISP has helped Van learn more skills, both hard and soft skills, expanding relationships and cultivating the best memories of student life. Looking back at me two years ago – when I first entered school and now, really doing activities has made Van much more mature.s.

The photo was taken at the Opening Ceremony of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Office for International Study Programs)(OISP), the event which OSA runs full for communication, backstage, decoration, game management …

*What is Van’s definition for OISP?
-OISP is a dynamic and sociable environment, suitable for cultivating knowledge and developing skills; it is also the place where I got to know many good friends, extremely enthusiastic office workers and cute girls. OISP has been known by many outside students as well as high school students. To further develop, I just want OISP to improve the convenience of students such as lunch break places, group study places (because the library is very crowded in the exam season) and facilities. Thus, OISP will not only attract students but also retain students who are studying here.

* In addition, how did Van choose to dress when going to school?
– In the first days of school, I took care of my appearance. Later, due to being lazy, I like to wear comfortable clothes like jeans, T-shirts, sandals. About a month ago, Van saw the confession of Bach Khoa’s students reflecting on the girls wearing skirts and shorts into school. Looks like girls in Bach Khoa are banned to wear skirts, sad for 5 seconds. I saw that girls in dresses are very cute and feminine, just need to be a bit fine, then surely the boys in Bach Khoa don’t need to go to the Pedagogy University to find “their half”

* What about the combo “shirt + fitness pants + honey sandals” of boys in Bach Khoa?
– Nostalgic! My friends also wear those kinds of clothes very much. The most important is comfortable. There are many people focusing on beauty so wearing beautiful makes them more confident. For some others, just wide, normal clothes are okay. Style of dress is a matter of perspective, but the point of view is not right – wrong, beautiful – bad, only appropriate or not. So Van’s advice is simply “clean, hygienic” (said by Tran Thanh) and dress right time.
