On November 6, 2024, the prestigious education organization Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) released the 2025 Asian University Rankings, marking a significant advancement for Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM). Achieving an impressive rank of 184, VNU-HCM has surged 36 places compared to its 2024 standing, solidifying its position in the top 180-200 universities in the region. Additionally, according to the QS World University Rankings 2025, VNU-HCM is ranked in the 901-950 tier, reinforcing its growing prominence on the global academic stage.
This is not only a significant milestone for VNU-HCM but also evidence of the continuous development of higher education in Vietnam in the context of globalization. VNU-HCM continues to lead the higher education system of Vietnam and the ASEAN region.
To achieve this ranking, VNU-HCM has continuously improved the quality of training, promoted scientific research, international cooperation, and enhanced prestigious indicators in the global academic community.
