On the morning of December 22^nd, HCMUT Communist Youth Union organized an annual running competition for the whole personnel of HCMUT.

The sport event was held on the occasion of People’s Army of Viet Nam Foundation 71^st Anniversary (December 22^nd, 1944 – December 22^nd, 2015) and National Defense Day 26^th Anniversary (December 22^nd,1989 – December 22^nd, 2015).

The Vice Rector is always an active factor of the race. Every year, he takes part in the race and wins at least a prize.

The running race is held to create a meaningful playground, to boost the sporty spirit, and encourage healthy lifestyle as well.

This year competition attracted 220 staff at all ages attending. With the encouragement from the spectators, the athletes energetically won over challenging races and exceeded their limits. They competed in different categories based on age and gender.

The competition not only had solidarity value, especially among the youth, but also was a chance to find out and train talented athletes of HCMUT for their further contribution to our country’s professional sports.
