The reception occurs at Office for International Study Programs on November 5th 2015 morning to prepare for MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) re-signature of co-operation between Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and The University of Queensland (Australia).

Attending the meeting, Professor Paul Strooper – Head of School of IT & Electrical Engineering, and Associate Professor Aleksandar were on behalf of University of Queensland (UQ), Australia.

On behalf of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, there are MBA. Nguyễn Thị Lê Thi – Head of Student Mobility Department Office for International Study Program (OISP); PhD. Đỗ Hồng Tuấn – Head of School of Electrical – Electronic; PhD. Phạm Trần Vũ – Deputy Head of School of Science & Computer Engineer.

Hereby, representatives of the two universities had an in-depth discussion about Electrical – Electronic, IT (Computer ScienceComputer Engineering), Chemical Engineering Programs in order to prepare for MOU re-signature of the up-coming education co-operation. The new MOU will take into effect within 5 years, from 2015.

With this MOU, students studying Undergraduate Programs of the correlative majors will continue studying their last 2 years in UQ after finishing the first 2 years at HCMUT. The Bachelor Degree is offered by UQ (if GPA, IELTS, financial,… requirements are qualified).

Later on, Prof. Paul Strooper had a meeting with students who are in Electrical – Electronic, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering to present information and answer students’ question upon UQ’s study environment, living in UQ.
