It is a common question of new students studying Business Administration for three special guests in seminar about business administration held on 11.9.2014, hosted by OISP. Unilever Manufacturing Director – Mr. Le Van Nhiem, VNG Human Resources Director – Mrs.Nguyen Lien Kha and representative of Faculty of Industrial Management of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – Dr.Pham Quoc Trung.

According to Unilever Manufacturing Director – Mr.Le Van Nhiem: “Everyone in Unilever is always integrity, enthusiasm and has passion for learning new things quickly, and leadership potential, ability to plan, organize and essential soft skills like rhetoric, solve problems, develop ideas, etc. “

That are also characters that Unilever is seeking for. Unilever opens annually “Potential Leaders” program. In this this program, students will be trained in 3 months in international working environment. Then they have chances to become official staffs of Unilever. Besides, Mr. Nhiem give many useful advises to new students of K2014 specialized in BA.

VNG and opportunities for first, second, third and last year students.

The representative of VNG is Mrs. Nguyen Lien Kha- VNG HR Director. Students can be not very familiar with her name but they must be familiar with VNG products, including Vo Lam Truyen Ky, Khu Vuon Tren May, online music website Zing MP, etc., In 2014, VNG was in list of 100 best working environment in Vietnam. ( source: Anphabe.com)

Mrs.Kha shares that the average age of employees is 28 with many of them are about 21 to 25 years old. There are also a lot of first and second year students participating VNG tour program. In this program, students will have chances to talk, discuss with company’s employees, leaders.

Particularly, the third year and senior year students can take part in VNG internship – paid internship program. Under the program, students will be trained and deeply involved in the project implementation process of the enterprise, simultaneously and have the opportunity to become permanent employees of the company.

Almost companies require working experience..How can students who have just graduated get that from?

From activities in learning process, student’s project, contests require teamwork, etc.,. According to Mrs. Kha, attending to these activities will help students improve agility, resourcefulness, ability to organize plan, solve problem and know how to cooperate with other teammates and be proactive in work.
