ICTentr | Teacher Training: Entrepreneurship

|

That the world economy is continuously changing and more and more internationalised would make a purely engineer fall down after graduating. Engineers these days have to be entrepreneurially prepared to understand and contribute in the context of market and business pressures.

Engineering students need to be taught on how to look out for problems that have market potential and consider their product or design from the customer’s point of view (Lumsdaine & Binks, 2003a).

Thus, the project Supporting Entrepreneurial Development in the Field of IT in Vietnamese HEIs – ICTentr is organised to give a hand to the higher education institutions in Vietnam.

Coming to the Teacher Training in Entrepreneurship, the participants will be introduced to Entrepreneurial Education by the University of Turku, Finland and Project Manager Vesa Hautala.

The teachers can help students to enhance their entrepreneurial skills in any courses by first becoming themselves entrepreneurial and applying interactive entrepreneurial teaching methods. The teachers then should give experiential learning and project work a main role in their teaching.

During the training, the teachers will gain insight to:

• Understand the key concepts of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial teaching
• See the opportunities of entrepreneurship in your teaching
• Share and exchange your experience on teaching

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology would like to invite our lecturers & teaching staffs to the Training Program in Entrepreneurship by registering in the form below.
