OISP signed a strategic partnership with P&G Indochina
On the morning of March 19, 2019, Office for International Study Programs (OISP) signed a strategic partnership with P&G Indochina at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT – Bach Khoa). Attending the signing ceremony including Mr. Fernando Delrio – Director of Binh Duong Factory, Ms. Jenny Yeonardy – Head of Product Supply Department (Binh Duong Factory), Ms. Bui Kieu Anh – Head of Human Resources Department (Binh Duong factory).
At the meeting, representatives of P&G Indochina expressed their agreement with OISP leaders in the goal of training future high-quality engineers, who are not only excellent in technical mastery, but also brilliant in soft skills, specially leadership and English capability to stay confident and competitive when it comes to career opportunities at big and well-known enterprises. These competencies can be sharpened by the school education program in combination with the practice and exposure with real working environment from multi-national enterprises.
Thus, on top of the full year program “Students with Career 2018” that P&G offers Gold Sponsorship, OISP of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and P&G company has aligned to partner in 4 strategic projects including:
– Graduation internship (with salary) & recruiting 15 students of OISP group of engineering and IT
– Female technical student scholarships: three scholarships for female students of OISP technical group, worth VND 15 million / interest and full-time working opportunities at P&G
– Female technical leadership training course: for female students of OISP engineering group
– P&G Lecturing Session in Bach Khoa: P&G will help provide knowledge on the practice in P&G business with the core subjects in Bach Khoa, including the topic of Industry 4.0, Supply Chain Design, Key Technologies, Project Justification.
For the 3 mentioned above projects, OISP – Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology will help with the internal communication across the Faculties and the Deans for project kick-off, follow the next steps and update with P&G on the progress once a month.
