ADVANCED PROGRAM STUDENT WON THE GOLDEN MEDAL FOR EXCELLENT GRADUATES

The medal is awarded to Doan Nguyen Khai, 2010 Intake student of Electrical & Electronic Engineering – Advanced Program, HCMC University of Technology.

The Graduation Council and The Felicitation Council of HCMUT have announced the list of the top 16 graduates of 2010 Intake to win the Golden Medal for their excellent study records and excellent thesis results.
Among those 16 students, Doan Nguyen Khai, student of Electrical & Electronic Engineering – Advanced Program, is honored to be named in the golden list. Khai has excellent GPA of 8.45/10.0, which means his graduate grade will be named as ‘Excellent’. It also make him the graduate valedictorian in Faculty of Electrical & Electronic Engineering – Batch 2010.

In HCMUT, winning the Golden Medal is one of the most desirable and admirable achievement to many students. The conditions and requirements are very high and strict. Applicants must be excellent students who graduate on time with the 4 essential requirements:

  1. In the top 10 graduates of the Faculty
  2. Thesis result must be equal to or greater than 8.0/10.0
  3. Student Performance must be categorized as ‘Good’ or ‘Excellent’. No discipline record in HCMUT.
  4. Graduate result as ‘Good’. No case of failed courses.

HCMC University of Technology is currently conducting Advanced Program for Bachelor of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (4 years at HCMUT) and Articulation Programs (2 first years at HCMUT, 2 final years at Illinois University at Urbana-ChampaignCatholic University of America/ Rutgers University, USA or the University of Queensland, Australia).

The program is taught entirely in English and recognized for its quality by HCMC National University and our partner universities in USA, Australia, and Japan.

The program is designed and structured in view of learner-centered, helping students maximize their creativity, professionalism, English fluency and flexible adaptability to the international working environment.

Graduates will be certified as Bachelor of Electrical & Electronic Engineering by HCMC University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Bach khoa)) or by our partner universities.

Admission is available since March 1st, 2015.
