Khanh Nhan wants to get a hold of his life

“As HCMUT is famous for Technology training, people told me that it wouldn’t be wise to apply for Business Administration.  However, after 2 years here, I don’t regret it a bit” – said Le Khanh Nhan.

“Graduated from highschool, many offers occured to me: study in VIetnam or foreign, semi-abroad study. In the end, I chose BA course in HCMUT because I like the module of Articulation 2 + 2”. Khanh is now at Illinois University – Springfield, USA, where he’ll finish his last 2 years.

Lots of people tried to talk me out of it – applying for BA in HCMUT. Truth is, it is trained thoroughly here. Being a Technological school but the BA program here is better than expected, I even get to practice my English.

Some of his achievements

*People learn BA to become the boss. Is this the case for you?

– Actually that isn’t correct. Bosses exist in Medical field, Engineering field also. Being the manager or not, it depends on one’s own desire and capacity. I chose this course as I want to take control of my life and become a good manager

* Why did you choose the US instead of Japan? I heard you were fond of Japanese stuffs.

– Japan is one of the places I want to explore. I transferred to America as part of the program. It is a multiracial country, I can meet many international friends.

*Did you have any obstacles when learning in OISP?

– Lots, actually. I didn’t fit in, people came from every where in Vietnam. We fought and we made up, it was fun. Studying in university is different also, it is required to read a lot

* So how is your learning skills now?

– Not really good, I think if I put more time in it, it’ll be better. In America, I think I should put more effort in learning and social activities.

Scholarships to Japan, earned!

My advice to do well in the university is that effort and effort. In the period in HCMUT – OISP, I didn’t skip any class. I hope it will pay off.

*How important is reading?

– Irreplacable. Especially for expertised subjects, the more you read the better. A pal told me this trick: write down the main ideas in your own words so that you don’t forget them all.

* Thanks Khanh Nhan. Wish you all the best!
