HCMUT – Bach khoa student wins AmCham scholarship 2017
Returned to Bach Khoa shortly after the short-term study course in Japan, under the program of the Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE), Mai Hoang Bao had made it again and won the prestigious scholarship from no organization other than the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM).
To be able to achieve such the opportunity, Hoang Bao had successfully demonstrated his ability through very good study result and passed all three rounds of evaluation from AmCham Vietnam.
His personal study results include:
• GPA 8.2 in Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Bach khoa).
• JSCE Scholarship (Japan)
• Active member of AIESEC, The Street Store, Green Summer activities, OISP Camp, …
Started out 16 years ago, AmCham is an annual scholarship of the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, exclusively for students of 15 universities in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province.
Applicants must have a GPA ≥ 7.0, excellence in English, actively participating in extracurricular activities and have a clear vision of career path to be considered for the scholarship.
This year, 60 scholarships had been granted, each worth 10,000,000VND.
