OISP STUDENT SHARES HIS USEFUL EXPERIENCE IN INTERVIEW FOR TOSHIBA SCHOLARSHIP
This is an annual prestigious scholarship in engineering of Toshiba – one of the leading electronics corporations in the world.
Students received this scholarship will be paid the entire cost of flight tickets, accommodations, living expense in during internship. Besides, they will have great opportunity to officially work for Toshiba Corporation after graduating.
During 40 days of internship (1/7 -11/8/2015), students will have real experience about life and international working environment that they will never find out while studying. Therefore, they will have better vision about their future career.
In 2015, there are 7 advanced program students in the major of Electrical-Electronic Engineering apply for this scholarship: Le Minh Khoi, Tran Hong An, Nguyen Hoang Viet, Phan Vu Huy, Dang Minh Tri, Pham Cong Hoan Long, Ha Xuan Thao
All students have impressive study achievements: GPA 7.7 to 8.5, IELTS 6.0 and TOEIC 700 or above
Tran Hong An shared with OISP about his useful experience in applying for Toshiba scholarship (In 2014, An achieved the International Students Program Scholarship of Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan)
According to “Owl” ( as his friends call him), the presentation was just about 15 to 20 minutes asking about some main points:
- How can you deal with troubles?
- Your knowledge about Toshiba Corporation
- Some random questions based on candidate’s CV
The questions were not very difficult, students just need to prepare carefully, answer sincerely and confidently.
