Love Bus 2016 – HCMUT Charity program
The children were happy when enjoying the meals from the Love Bus.
The program which aimed to give presents to students in difficulties of the 02 primary schools Đoàn Thị Điểm & Hà Huy Tập (Ea Phê Commune, Krông Pak District, Dak Lak Province) occurred from 31 December 2016 to 1 January 2017 with the organizers from the OISP Youth Union, HCMUT Youth Union, and BK Events Club.
That the children’s houses are in remote mountainous areas and their families didn’t go for resettlement makes the children get up very early in the morning to go to school. The nearest distance is 4km and the farthest distance is 17km. They have to go over the slopes, slipping roads, and even have to bring their bikes over the spring. Every day, the children use the flashlights to go to school from 3 AM in the cold weather; on rainy days, they have to go earlier than that of usual.
We hope that these presents could somehow bring the joy, happiness & motivations to the children so that they will make the greatest effort to study.
