Nguyen Do Huy Hoang – top grader of OISP 2014 (Advanced Program, Computer Science Engineering), second grader of HCMUT 2014 Entrance Examination – together with Trinh Tran Mai Kim Hoang – student with highest score, GPA 9.68, of the Articulation Program, Civil Engineering, top grader of 2013  – 2014 Entrance Exam, raised the National flag with honor in the Opening Ceremony 2014 – 2015 of HCMUT, on Sep 9 2014.

2014 – 2015, HCMUT welcomes more than 4000 students K2014 official category, in which there are almost 500 students of International programs, In the ceremony, the Rector also awarded to students with good performance in examination, contests, Olympics, etc. to encourage the study spirit. Social activists and art performers in the schools were also honored
