BACH KHOA OISP STUDENTS GOT TWO FIRST PRIZES IN ENGLISH SPEAKING DAY OPEN 2019

English Speaking Day Open 2019 (ESD 2019) is the English speaking event organized by BELL Club from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City Student Union for students all over the city including students, pupils from universities, high schools in Ho Chi Minh city. The event aimed to bring an exciting moment and release English learners from fear of speaking English.

There are two main activities in the event: (1) Booth Contest: engaging and playing English challenges at booth, (2) Battle Contest: show English eloquence through debates about topics from judges.

OEC is an English club of OISP Bach Khoa students which works to promote “Practice English in an Entertaining Way”. OEC was founded with 2 main objectives:
Create an environment for students to practice, accumulate and improve English in the most entertaining way for OISP students particularly and HCMUT Bach Khoa in general.
Support, encourage OISP students to improve their English and achieve IELTS grade ≥ 6.0 on time to enter the main course.
In order to make it, OEC frequently organized various offline activities such as Movie Days, Speaking with Foreigners, IELTS Trial Test, Weekly Debate English Camp. These activities are held weekly from 9 am to 11 am Sunday at Room 407, A4 Building, Campus 1, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, 268 Ly Thuong Kiet, District 10.
