The conference took place on March 22nd at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Bach khoa) – Ho Chi Minh Campus. This is an opportunity for the Board of Director of Office for International Study Programs (BK-OISP) to be able to hear about students’ concerns and feedback studying at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Bach khoa).

At the annual conference, students are encouraged to express frankly, about their difficulties and limitations related to the quality of teaching, learning environment, facilities and extra-curricular activities that provided by BK-OISP.

Some key ideas that students in this conference include:

• Add Biochemistry subject to the current curriculum to support learning better the Microorganism subject or Green Technology subject
• Re-arrange study schedule with foreign professors
• Upgrade configuration of the Lab B1, Wi-Fi access in the lab A5 and lab B3, improve toilets in B4 building.
• Establish OISP student research clubs, maintain regular football and basketball tournaments
• B3 parking lot needs expanding roofs and capacity

The conversation gone smoothly with the agreement reached between both side:

– A playground to encourage students to participate and get used to scientific research is very important: That’s why OISP annually organizes Scientific Research Conference for OISP student, which is directly related to the concern that the students are having. Besides, this year, the Office has organized and promoted another excited playground which is BK Innovation 2018, a startup contest combined with engineering and innovation, to help the students explore further their passion when studying at Bach Khoa.

– Regarding student parking area, the school’s management board has amended and will continue to expand B10 and B3 area.

– In addition, the OISP and the school also encourage students to proactively propose new ideas or opinions whenever encountering instead of just annually, through the Academic Office at A4 building.
