AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE COLLABORATIVE EDUCATION PROGRAM (CEP)

On the morning of 24th April, the Collaborative Education Program (CEP) took place at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) with the attendance of sponsors and partners from Japan and Myanmar.

The announcement day marked the first step in the Collaborative Education Program between the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), the Yokohama University and Yangon Technological University – Myanmar. The program was sponsored by the Japan International Cooperation Agency and ASEAN University Network/Southeast Asia Engineering Education Development Network (JICA Project – AUN/SEED-Net).

The economy of Vietnam, as well as Myanmar, is in the rapid development period, and methodically trained engineers are one of the decisive factors for the development. The main objective of the CEP Program is the creativity, self-motivation as well as the results of research, cooperation between engineers.

Especially, CEP offered special scholarships to citizens of ASEAN who registered to study International Master Program (BK – IMP) as Civil Management at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT). The scholarships are sponsored by AUN/SEED-Net, included:

  • The tuition fee of the program
  • The boarding pass for students who do not live in Vietnam
  • Visa fee for the second-year study at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology
  • Travel and living expenses
  • Language support, medical and insurance
  • Field trips to Japan (2 months) and Myanmar (15 days)
    Attend to seminars and workshops in ASEAN countries
