GRADUATION CEREMONIES OF ENGLISH PROGRAMS OF HCMUT-04/2019
On the morning of April 25th, 2019, the first graduation ceremony of the English Program of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) – the National University of Ho Chi Minh City was held solemnly at B4 Hall in Ly Thuong Kiet campus with the HCMUT graduation ceremony.
At the graduation ceremony on 1/2019, HCMUT has awarded Ph.D. degree to 12 researchers, Master’s degree to 200 postgraduate students; and 1.057 undergraduates.

The graduation day also marked an important milestone of the Office for International Study Programs (OISP). It is the first graduation ceremony of the first intake of the English Program – 2014. The graduation ceremony was held in the cozy and formal at B4 Hall with the attendance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Danh Thao, Vice President of HCMUT; Dr. Dang Dang Tung, Dean of the Office International Study Program as well as lecturers from faculties and representatives from partner companies, corporations.

There were 66 students of 2014 intake graduated from the English Program. For more details, 15 students graduated with excellent grades with the grade point average (GPA) higher than 8.0. Especially, Le Quynh Anh, who graduated as a Bachelor of Computer Science, had a GPA of 9.11 and IELTS of 7.0. Le Quynh Anh was awarded a Gold Medal by the HCMUT by the outstanding study achievement. Students, who graduated with excellent category, have been awarded certificates and scholarship from the Administrators and the Office International Study Program (OISP).

The graduation ceremony finished in the joyful atmosphere of graduated engineers, bachelors as well as the satisfaction of parents, who attended, have been marking the successful English Program graduation ceremony.
