On the morning of February 21, 2020, the Consulate General of the Republic of Cuba in Ho Chi Minh City, Mrs. Indira Lopez Arguelles visited the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT – Bach Khoa).

Receiving the delegation was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Danh Thao – Vice-Rector of HCMUT – Bach Khoa, Ph.D. Lai Quoc Dat – Head of External Relations Office together with lecturers attended the meeting.

Mrs. Indira Lopez Arguelles introduced a lot of information about the socio-economic situation, education … of Cuba in the meeting with HCMUT – Bach Khoa. The Consulate General expressed her desire to have close corporations in the field of education and scientific research between HCMUT – Bach Khoa and the universities in Cuba.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Danh Thao – Vice-Rector thanked the Consulate General for visiting and working with the University. He also hopes that Cuban schools and universities will successfully develop educational cooperation programs.

The two sides spent time exchanging and raising cooperation issues in the fields of education and research … Today’s visit and working session laid the foundation for extensive cooperation between the two sides in the coming time.
