On September 28th 2019, International Master Programs of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – Bach Khoa (BK-IMP) operated by Office for International Study Programs (OISP) held an Opening Session for the learners of 2019 – 2021 courses.
In order to make a connection between BK-IMP learners and HCMUT – Bach Khoa, OISP usually opens up opportunities for the learners to socially communicate and interact with each other through annual meetings. This is also an activity to welcome the new learners of BK-IMP.
Regarding the honored guests, there were lecturers coming from the University of Applied Sciences of Northwestern Switzerland (Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz) – a principal partner of OISP in the MBA-MCI program (MBA-MCI – Master of Business Administration, Management Consulting International, operated by OISP). Representing the partner university, Professor Rolf-Dieter Reineke – the program Director provided useful information for the learners to have a more general understanding of MBA-MCI program and BK-IMP).
Regarding OISP – an office belonged to HCMUT – Bach Khoa is responsible for BK-IMP management and operation, there was the participation of lecturers, experts and all of the learners. Vice Director of OISP – Ph.D. Truong Quang Vinh had introduced BK-IMP and other majors of the program. This is the first and only Master program in Vietnam that offers opportunities for Engineering learners to gain international experience with the study program fully delivered in English.
Following the ceremony activities, there was a knowledge exchanging and orientation section to provide learners with a more profound understanding of the field that they had chosen. In this course, OISP had enrolled more learners from Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia. OISP is making significant progress, showing a determined effort of the board and all lecturers in global integration.
The ceremony was performed with the participation of exciting learners. OISP will be holding more activities in the future to provide learners with exposure to an international study environment just right at HCMUT – Bach Khoa.
