On June 16, the publication of QS World University Rankings has revealed that Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) has made it to maintain its position in the list of TOP 1,000 universities in the world for 2021.
According to Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) in UK – the world’s largest international higher education network, two universities from Vietnam are in the list of best 1,000 universities all over the world in 2021 (QS World University Rankings 2021 – QS WUR 2021). The two names are Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (Ho Chi Minh city) and Vietnam National University (Hanoi).
This is the third time both of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi National University are listed in the QS’s global best university rankings. These two universities continue to maintain its ranks, from 801 to 1,000 on the list. However, since the ranking points of both universities are increasing, their absolute rankings are also improving gradually.
Up to now, Ho Chi Minh City National University has made appearance three times in this annual ranking. Thus, including Vietnam, the ASEAN region has 45 universities listed in the QS world rankings of 1,000 best universities.
QS World was founded in 2004, it is now the 17th year that QS has revealed the publication of International University Rankings. Also, the QS World University Rankings is considered one of the most prestigious rankings which have huge impact all over the world.
