FIELD TRIPS, INTERNSHIP AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES FOR HCMUT STUDENTS
Studying at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), aka Bach Khoa University, students have a chance to apply principles and theories learnt in the classroom to a “real world” setting through our Internship program. The internship program is designed to aid in career decision making and preparation for a purposeful career with a wide range of resources, services, field trips and events. Internship is an opportunity for students to gain practical experience working with an organization while studying at university, therefore, helps students to explore, clarify and achieve their career goals.
Students of HCMUT are required to go to field trips to gain valuable insight into their chosen career field during the first year. There are a number of visit associated with various elective courses offered in the Second, and Third years. For year 4, students will go to internship before graduation.
Each faculty offers a specialist range of industries to students to register for, including well-known local and international organizations/ factories such as Yakult, Kizuna, Samco, FPT software…
Future career opportunities of HCMUT students
HCMUT partners and maintains the relationship with organizations, therefore, HCMUT hosts career events, job fairs and workshops to students every year. We believe these events providing students with an opportunity to meet with a variety of prospective employers, exploring the career options available at both local and international organizations, more than that, allowing students to meet casually with managers/ employers at tables or booths set up in the events or workshops/ seminars.
Opportunity to one-on-one interviews with hiring managers from participating organizations.
Opportunity to receive information from organizations, who will pay close attention to student’s needs and help them find the answers to their career-related questions at the workshops.
