Elimination Round of Robofight 2019 has become a primus with intense battles with enthusiastic cheering from supporters.

On the morning of November 24, the first round of Robofight 2019 Competition took place at Ho Chi Minh City Industry and Trade College (District 9) with the participation from 32 representatives from universities, colleges, and enterprises all over Ho Chi Minh City.

Right from the early morning, all teams showed up with their supporters, engineering, technology lovers in general and mechanical, electronics, automation particularly.

From HCMUT Bach Khoa (VNU-HCM) came a lot of teams such as BKRA, BK Mjolnir, Vietmold CDIO, Darth Vader, BK-IUT.

As reported from the scene, the atmosphere there was extremely exciting. This year, the organizers change the stage arrangement (with the fence surrounding the stage) and audiences’ seats following concentrated style like famous BattleBots in the USA.

Estimated there are hundreds of audiences watching the battle right at the stage and through Livestream which is on-air on the competition’s fanpage. Because of the huge interest that the audience shared, the organizers went for a big screen set up in the schoolyard to help students and audiences easily follow the battles’ progress.

In the first elimination round, there were 16 winning teams and 13 losing teams but had good results in the first round and Speed Race round (17/11) advanced into the second elimination round.

Robofight 2019 is the counter tournament among remote-control robots, organized by Business Association Mechanical – Electrical City (HAMEE). All battle round takes place on weekly Sunday:
