The Fair was co-organized by Student Career Centre of HCMUT – Bach khoa, SETA Vietnam, and SEKISHO Career Plus, an agency specializing in providing HR services in Japan.
In the morning of 26 April 2018, SEKISHO JOBFAIR was officially open for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City at Hall A4 of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT). The Fair was co-organized by Student Services & Career Center of HCMUT, SETA Vietnam – a global software solutions company, and SEKISHO Career Plus, an agency specializing in providing HR services in Japan.
The Fair attracted hundreds of students from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) and from other universities, as well as workers in the nearby area. At the Fair, there was the participation of five most populated Japanese enterprises including Logic Design Inc., The Joyo Bank, Ltd., NIPPON Paper Industries Co., Ltd., Edison Group and OHTSUKA Inc. The enterprises have announced the recruitment for many positions in the fields of information technology, banking – securities, chemical engineering, garment engineering, medical equipment …

The Keynote Speaker Dang Viet Tan is sharing his working experience in Japan
Within the program, speaker Dang Viet Tan (Vice Chairman of the Culture Division – Kanto Branch – Vietnam Association of Youth Students in Japan) shared with students about his working experiences, interview stories, living environment & culture in Japan; skills & qualities required by Japanese companies; his experience in learning the Japanese language. Following the speaker’s presentation, students had opportunities to interact directly with the company representatives in Q & A section. Questions & concerns about their recruitment demands, corporate culture, job vacancies, etc. were all answered. Interview schedules were also arranged in the afternoon.

SEKISHO Job Fair has been held annually in Hanoi since 2014. After three years of organizing, lots of students have been employed by Japanese enterprises and some students are currently working in Japan). This is the fourth event to be organized in Vietnam and is the first to be held in Ho Chi Minh City.
