Engineers, bachelors in the dazzling joy of graduation.

On April 27th, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Bach khoa) (Ho Chi Minh University of Technology) solemnly held a graduation ceremony for 2,430 fresh engineers, architects, and bachelors.

This year, the university recognized 2,217 graduates from Vietnamese program. 19 students from the second bachelor’s degree program; 17 students from overseas affiliated programs; 166 students from distant learning program and so on.

Specific graduation ranking rates are as follows:

• Vietnamese programs: Excellent 0.1%; Good 19.7%; Above Average 61.2%; Average – 18.9%; 0.1%
• Second Bachelor’s Degree: Excellent 15.8%; Above average 57.9%; Average – 26.3%
• Affiliated Program: Excellent 5.9%; Above average 82.3%; Average – 11.8%
• Distant Learning Program: Excellent 3.6%; Above average 27.1%; Average – 65.1%

On this occasion, Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Bach khoa) – Prof. Dr. Vu Dinh Thanh, awarded 15 gold medals and 23 silver medals to the students with best academic achievements, topping the graduation list of the whole University.

Rector Thanh also reminded fresh graduates and the alumnis participated in the ceremony to maintain close relationship with the school through different channels the school had provided, including e-mail, Phu Tho-Former Students Association website etc. Testimonial session between graduates and the school also takes place during the ceremony, to help the school receive feedback, therefore making efforts to continuously improve training quality & study environment in the future.

After the main ceremony in the A5 Hall, 30 fresh Electrical – Electronics Engineers from English-delivered Program returned to the A4 building to attend a private graduation ceremony organized by OISP – Office for International Programs. This warm and cozy second ceremony having special participation of family, friends, juniors of the graduates.
