On the morning of April 28th, Bach Khoa Innovation 2020 started the first round online with the participation of 52 teams. These 52 excellent projects were chosen before to advance to the first round.
Bach Khoa Innovation is a competition on innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship organized by HCMUT – Bach Khoa to encourage students in scientific research, innovation, and application deployment. The competition creates opportunities for connecting not only students and students but also students and businesses.
Today, the first round took place at 4 rooms at campus with full equipments. In each council, there are 13 teams and 4 judges who are lecturers from the faculties related to projects. Through Google Meet, every team had 5 minutes to demonstrate their project and answer the questions from judges. Then, judging panel evaluated the performances based on 3 criteria including innovation (40%), development potential (40%), and presentation (20%). Ten groups each council having the highest scores will continue to the second round.
Because of Covid-19, this is the first time Bach Khoa Innovation is organized online. Although there were many initial difficulties such as unstable transmission or sound problems, the competition still completed well with the perfect performances of 52 teams.
