“I am not as same as the other students, from the first time at the ceremony for the beginning of a term, I had my first performance in B4 Hall after staying in the backyard and watching B.O.M.B’s performances in A5 Hall. At that time, I decided to be the next BOMB generation.” Long shared.

1/ Can you share a little information about your major?

Since childhood, I have had a certain love with animals and nature. So when I was in grade 12, I have a chance to know more about the environmental major and realized that they are very interesting and diverse. I have many choices when I study so I am enrolled in Natural Resources and Environmental Management of Office for International Study Programmes (OISP)

Learning this major is also give me a chance to participate in a lot of scientific research. For example, in his first year, he studied about using earthworm to deal with contaminated sludge in the channel but it seems not very successful. In the second semester, I made my own research project on underground water quality assessment in Tan My commune, Long An province. Unfortunately, because we had no experience in selecting group members, we could not do so.

2/ Besides your studying, we have known that you are also working at B.O.M.B, can you show us more information about B.O.M.B?

B.O.M.B is a club for students who love music, specializing in “tender” for large events, fixing throughout the summer semester, semester 1 to semester 2 and also the admission counseling, OISP Camp, Presentation Contest, Lunar New Year, … in Office for International Study Programmes (OISP).

In addition, B.O.M.B has performed at many other nearby universities, most notably at the University of Economics (UEH).

Annually, B.O.M.B organizes other small music events to create a playground for club members, one of the biggest events is the Casting and B.O.M.B Showcase. Recently at OISP Camp 2018, I successfully held the B.O.M.B Mini Showcase at our tent, all friends sing and dance in a warm and friendly zone. Just a little thing but I feel so successful.

3/ Being the head of BOMB club as a senior student with many scientific projects, how can you balance everything?

Honestly, I have a bit overloaded, but thanks to all of the things that I have learned how to manage time better. I spend time on important things first and then do the less important things, ranked over time. At the beginning of the semester, he was struggling with his new job at the OISP office, plus the topic of science and lectures set up every week, so I was quite drowsy.

Later on, I have learned about how to manage time efficiently, so that everything has gone smoothly.

4/ Staying with B.O.M.B for nearly 4 years, how do you feel about your club?

B.O.M.B is a place for you to be acquainted with people who have similar hobbies with you, thereby training and developing yourself. I am from a shy boy who became the head of the club so why not you?

Four years at BOMB helped me grow up so much from the appearance to the thought. Now I am very proud to say that mentioning Long – Chairman of BOMB club, people usually only praise: 3.

5/ How do B.O.M.B and you orient your group will be?

The most important thing is that every member of the club must be united, respectful, and responsible. In addition, fun is also an integral part of the club.
In the coming time, B.O.M.B will expand its influence further, to have more playing field for members as well as exchange with other schools’ clubs to have more fun and also it can raise the level of members.
So, I plan to develop a team which is more powerful and set up a whole new team. B.O.M.B’s Event Team consists of three small teams: Team Media, Team Logistics and Team Relations. I have an idea to design it just in a process of testing).
Even though I’m nearly finishing my term at B.O.M.B, I’m really sure that my ideas will be inherited and promoted.
