Dr. Pham Hong Thom – an engineer specialized in Mechanical Engineering went to the countryside to do research for the purpose of increasing productivity to help other people. Not many people believed that his rough machines could work efficiently and precisely.

Almost student in the Faculty of Mechatronic Engineering of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in term 2014 know about Pham Hong Thom – a provincial student been famous of his outstanding academic achievements. Moreover, after graduating from HCMUT, he was targeted by Master Program Scholarships specialized in Mechanical Engineering of Pukyon National University.

During the course, Pham Hong Thom was always the central point because his scientific research and reports were published constantly on many prestigious scientific magazines ( such as Scientificdirect.com –USA, IEEE Transations on Reliability, etc.,). He also surprised other international students when he graduated with an absolute score 100/100.

After that, he was awarded full scholarship Mechanical Designing Program for Phd by Pukyon National University. Then, he finished the course in February 2014 and carried on his graduation project.

For the purpose of applying what he had learnt, Mr. Thom self-established his own company Mechanic and Automation Tan Phuoc Dong. “Young boss” Thom created many useful products for farmers. Therefore, his factory had attracted a lot of engineers.

In order to expand his research, he invested more money on a wood sawing camp in his hometown. His products are well known and appreciated by many people, such as CD automatic sawing machine, oxygen fan timer, saw blade sharpening machine, etc.,

They are all have superior features compared to manual methods, and their costs are “softer” than other products from foreign countries. Among all his products, oxygen fan timer won the encouraging of the contest Technological Creativity of Tien Giang Province.

Since then, his products have been always well-known by high productivity and accuracy, they also ensure safety for users. Therefore, number of people believe in and use his products has increased rapidly.
