HCMUT volunteers in Ben Tre Province.

IN BEN TRE PROVINCE

This year, Tan Thanh Tay Ward, Mo Cay District, Ben Tre Province is where the volunteer selection team settle under the direction of Mr. Le Duc Huy – Secretary of the Students’ Association of Office for International Study Programs. The volunteers on duty are 65 students (14 females), 6 supervisors and 15 supporting volunteers.

With the success from 2015 campaign, the volunteer selection team will build the priority construction – Roadways in the countryside with the length of 1,382 meters.

Besides that, the campaign is varied with others meaningful activities such as: summer revision classes for children, awards for excellent students in difficult situations, communicating with the local residents about protecting the environment, preventing & protecting from HIV/AIDS, etc.

IN HO CHI MINH CITY
The volunteer selection team in Ho Chi Minh City includes 20 volunteer students on duty and 50 supporting students. The students will dividedly go to District 11, 10, 8, Thu Duc District and Binh Chanh Ward. Leading this area campaign is Mr. Le Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Students Association of OISP, the student of Intake 2013 – Electrical & Electronics Program.

The activities in Ho Chi Minh City is also as various and meaningful as those in Ben Tre Province. The volunteer selection team will joining in repainting the school, collecting books for children, cooperatively organize summer activities for children, training the First Aid basis for students, etc.

With careful spiritual and physical preparation, the Green Summer Volunteer Campaign 2016 is expected to bring not only the values and benefits to the community but also the memories in the residents and the volunteers.
