In Australia, Electrical Engineering is one of the professions with the highest growth rate in the last 5 years up to 47.4% comparing to 7.8% of all the industry generally. According to the figures in November 2012, approximately 25,100 workers in this sector is expected to increase in the range of 10,001-25,000 employees until November 2017. According Joboutlook.gov.au, most Electrical Engineers do their job full time (accounting for 95.5%) with an average working hours of 41.7 hours/week and pre-tax income of 1,841 AUD/week (equivalent to 40.5 million VND/week).

Unemployment is not considered to be a major problem to graduates of Electrical and Electronic Engineering
